On July 30 and 31, ITPAC Palmas International Office coordinator, Dr. André Machado de Senna, attended a series of meetings at Renison University College, University of Waterloo, Canada. Renison and ITPAC have already signed a memorandum of understanding providing for mutual cooperation in internationalization initiatives of both institutions.
Located in the heart of Canada's Technology Center, the University of Waterloo is considered the most innovative in Canada, including a Nobel Prize-winning professor in 2018.
During the visit to the University it was possible to know the detailed structure, which includes on-campus accommodation, restaurants, Welcome center, Fitness center, library, individual and group study room and much more. This entire structure will be available to ITPAC students and teachers who will participate in the mobility program. Next September, ITPAC Palmas will be visited by a representative of Renison University.
