Dentistry Professors from ITPAC present work at the 73rd Congress of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology in Miami.
Professors Eduardo Zambaldi da Cruz and Ana Cláudia Garcia Rosa participated in a scientific paper presented at the 73rd Annual Meeting & Continuing Education Program of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, that took place in Miami, Florida, on June 7th to 12th, 2019. Two cases of leishmaniasis that occurred in the city of Palmas, Brazil, were presented. The cases were diagnosed by oral manifestations. The work was carried out in partnership with researchers from the São Leopoldo Mandic School of Dentistry in Campinas, São Paulo.
The work titled as Oral Lesion in Mucocutaneous Leishmaniosis can be read in the booklet of the Congress through the link. The annals with the summary of the work will be published in Oral Surgery, oral Medicine, Oral Pathology and Oral Radiology.
